Why I Don’t Offer Minis for My Family Photo Sessions?

I don't do mini sessions. Not for Christmas, not for any other occasion.

Have I tried them? Of course. I've tried everything under the sun in my 12 years as a family photographer, and that's exactly why I don't offer them anymore.

Why 15 Minutes Isn't Enough for Family Photoshoot?

After years of shooting and meeting families with young kids in Dubai, I know for a fact that 15 minutes isn't enough for the experience I want to give you. I also know that the five selected photos from a mini session aren't necessarily the best images you could have walked away with.

We love those picture-perfect shots. We share them, we hang them on the wall, and then one day we just stop noticing them.

The Photos That Actually Move You, Years Later

Want to know which images really get you, years later? The ones that don't make it to a post or a frame.

Take it from someone with over 100 frames in the house, the same someone who teared up yesterday looking at some "not-so-perfect" photos she hadn't seen in six years. They're sitting on a hard drive, and when you scroll back to them, you realise exactly why you booked the session, and why the time, effort and money were worth it. I say effort because I know what it takes to get the whole family organised and excited for a photo shoot :).

Why Full Family Sessions Matter?

Those special moments and photos don't happen in 15 minutes. They happen when there's time to relax, when you all forget the camera's there, and the session unfolds step by step.

That's what a full family photography session gives you: the polished, wall-worthy shots, plus the ones that'll make you cry happy tears years later. I want to give you that full, meaningful experience. It's important to me, and I know it will be important to you too.
