Hello and Welcome!

I’m so happy you found your way here. Whether you discovered me through a friend, social media, or a quiet online search—I’m truly glad you’re here.

This guide will walk you through what to expect during our session together—how I shoot, what I look for, and how we’ll create something beautiful and true to your family.

I can’t wait to connect and help you step into the frame.

About me

I’m Lidiya and I am Beyond Excited That You are Here

If you’ve spent a little time on my website, then you already know:

I believe in photographs that feel.
Images that tell your story gently and honestly.
And moments that are meant to be remembered, not posed.

I take photos of my special moments, print and preserve them and I would be honoured to capture yours too. For you and for your children.

The Experience

01. Guided, Not Posed

As a lifestyle photographer, I gently guide you instead of posing you. I’ll give you prompts to get you started, then step back and let the natural story unfold in front of my lens.

02. Be Yourself

All I ask is that you allow yourself to simply be. Show love to your babies and your partner — they will respond with genuine emotion, and I’ll be there to capture every bit of it.

03. Let Go of the Camera

Don't worry about looking at the lens — I’ll only ask for it once or twice. The rest of the time, just walk, talk, hold hands, snuggle, whisper, and enjoy the little moments. That’s where the real magic is.

04. Your Story

Last but not least, create and enjoy your own moments and avoid picturing your session based on a list of Pinterest poses. The questionnaire will help you find the moments you’d love to preserve and then we’ll work together to capture them.

How to Prepare

01. Get Involved

This isn’t a pose, smile, and go kind of session. It’s a meaningful experience and planning helps make it just that. I encourage you to start with the questionnaire and not rush through it. It’s not just admin—it’s the beginning of your story. I’ve designed it to help you reflect, get clear, and start tapping into what matters most.

02. Be Prepared

For outdoor sessions, bring plenty of water and some snacks for the kids (nothing messy though). We can always stop the session for a quick bite if they get tired. Have some rubber bands or clips to tie back your or your daughter's hair in case there is strong wind. I can’t stress enough how important this is for desert shoots when the wind starts raging.

03. Get Your Home Photo Ready

In preparation for a home session, take a look around and remove all items that you would not like in the pictures (water bottles, medicines, boxes, remote controls, charging phones, etc.) Anything that will be out of place in the photos should be removed and stored away.

04. Be on Time

Plan well your trip to our location and be on time. There is nothing worse than going through all the process of getting everyone ready for the shoot and then arriving late only to see that the best light is gone.

What to wear

When planning your family's outfits for the session consider the following highlights:

  • Consider the location

  • Dress comfortably

  • Compliment each other’s outfits rather than matching them

  • Choose natural materials and earthy colours which look amazing at all locations in Dubai

  • Avoid large prints, big logos, huge stripes and dots and frills too

  • Bring some accessories as hats, scarves, jackets
